A Kundalini Yoga workshop for Full Moon in Taurus

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation is a bit different from many yoga classes. In this practice we will engage multiple senses and elements of the body by combining physical movement, breathing exercises, chanting, sound vibration and meditation. All levels of experience and all bodies are welcome! Practicing Kundalini Yoga can help you connect with your "inner voice" or "True North".

The upcoming Full Moon in Taurus invites us to revel in pleasure, restore structure and reclaim intimacy. We are asked to reflect on: What makes you feel secure and grounded? What scents, textures and environments bring you pleasure? Who are the people you love and the things that interest and excite you? This is a time to recognize elements that ground and support you and let go of that which needs to be released.

To celebrate the Full Moon in Taurus, we will use mantra, movement, meditation, breathwork and the sound vibration of the gong, to deepen the connection to your inner self that will show you what you value. The technology of Kundalini Yoga provides us with skills for enhancing the connection to our intuition so we can find alignment between our deep, inner values and our immediate environment.


Laura Merritt, has worked in the mental health and wellness field for 18 years. As a licensed mental health therapist and certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, it is her mission to share practical, modern and proven strategies with all people so they can improve their well-being and fulfill their greatest potential.

Please bring:

· A yoga mat ( mats are also available for rent at the studio)

· Comfortable clothing

· A light blanket for layout

· An open mind and open heart
